Oscars 2014: Liza Minnelli Gets Left Out of Ellens Selfie!

Never mind the selfie that went viral and broke Twitter! An attendee at Sunday's Oscars caught what was going on behind that star-studded huddle, and it turns out one guest was desperately trying to be included!

While Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres was busy wrangling stars for her A-list picture, Twitter user Ben Fritz's photo shows legendary performer Liza Minnelli reaching to be seen over the much taller actors blocking her way.

Unfortunately, she didn't make the cut, as you can see from the tweet below:

Ms. Minnelli has already issued a response to the photo, telling the Wall Street Journal, "This picture explains why I never played basketball."

Aw, poor Liza. She can't help it that she's 5'4"! Luckily, Ellen must have sensed the singer was feeling left out, because she took a selfie with just the Cabaret actress soon after!
